The event started out as a small group of friends coming together for a couple of rounds of golf in the Garden Route in 2009 has evolved into a prestigious event on the Oubaai Golf Club calendar where friends meet, golf is played, memories are made and reviewed.

The event is held in on an annual basis and is based on ‘by invite only’ and we have grown from 40 players in 2009 to over 120 players for this year’s event.

The aim of the event is to raise money for charity while offering networking opportunities for all involved in the event – both players and sponsors. 

The current beneficiaries benefiting from our charitable donations are Hope Church, Child welfare Grootbrak, Famsa, Night Shelter George and various creches in the Pacaltsdorp area.

The donations to these organizations will not be possible without the support of the Dekke Spar.
